Job Summary:
We're looking for a dependable and hardworking General Laborer with basic carpentry skills or experience in a related trade to join our team in Fort Stockton Texas. In this role, you'll support a range of construction activities including but not limited to rough and finish carpentry, some framing, demolition, site prep, and finish work. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience on large-scale commercial projects while working alongside skilled trades professionals.
Job Requirements:
  • Unload and carry materials at construction sites
  • Clean up site from debris and discarded material
  • Operate tools
  • Set up and take down ladders, scaffolding and other temporary structures
  • Committed to culture of safety and quality
  • Assist carpenters and other trades
  • Other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:
  • Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
  • Work in a variety of weather conditions with exposure to the elements.
  • Good hand-eye coordination, quick reaction times.
  • Wear a hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, and safety-toed boots.
  • Walk moderate distances to reach work area up to 1/2 mile
  • Talk, listen and speak clearly in person and on telephone
  • Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures
