Job description

Window Construction Laborer

Inland Home Improvements is looking for a dependable and hardworking Window Construction Laborer to join our residential construction team.

This is an entry-level position for someone with basic construction and/or window installation experience who wants to continue developing their skills.

Responsibilities

·         Assist with residential window removal and installation

·         Assist with preparing window openings

·         Help with measuring, leveling, shimming, and securing windows

·         Perform basic carpentry and construction tasks

·         Use basic hand and power tools

·         Assist with insulation, caulking, and sealing

·         Load, unload, and carry windows and construction materials

·         Protect floors, walls, furniture, and customer property

·         Maintain a clean and organized jobsite

·         Remove construction debris and clean up at the end of each job

·         Follow instructions from the crew lead and experienced installers

·         Follow all company safety procedures

Qualifications

·         Basic window installation or construction experience required

·         Basic knowledge of hand and power tools

·         Willingness to learn proper window installation techniques

·         Reliable and dependable

·         Good work ethic and positive attitude

·         Able to follow directions and work as part of a team

·         Comfortable working on ladders

·         Able to lift and carry windows and construction materials 50+lbs

·         Reliable transportation

·         Valid driver’s license preferred

·         Must be able to pass a drug and background check


Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who has some hands-on construction experience, takes pride in their work, is willing to learn, and wants to build a career in residential construction.
