Jaxon is looking for a Skilled Tradesman to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO.

Salary: $22.00-$28.00 per hour with opportunities for OT and per diems while traveling

Schedule: Full-Time

Travel Requirement: While this role is primarily a position located in Colorado Springs, a Skilled Tradesman should be prepared to travel as needed. Travel expenses are paid by the company. 

Security Clearance Requirement:  This role requires the ability and willingness to obtain a Department of Defense Secret or Top-Secret Clearance.

Primary Duties:

  • Read and interpret drawings, work instructions, measurements, and basic fabrication documentation
  • General construction activities & manual labor that include heavy lifting, grinding, painting the finished product & use of various power tools 
  • Perform bolt-on assembly, hardware installation, component installation, and general mechanical assembly
  • Install and finish various wall and interior coverings, including plywood, drywall, and other specified materials
  • Perform surface preparation, grinding, cleanup, coating preparation, labeling, stenciling, and other finishing operations
  • Maintain an organized and clean work area and properly care for tools, equipment, and materials
Requirements:

Required Job Qualifications:

  • Good math skills and strong skills reading blueprints 
  • Able to use grinders, chop saws, drills, plasma cutters and both scissor-lift & forklifts 
  • Able to bend over, kneel and crouch for long periods of time, & able to lift at least 50 lbs
