Job description

Construction Laborer
Peoplelink Staffing, in partnership with a prominent construction company, is seeking dependable and hardworking Construction Laborers to join its team. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity with immediate openings available.
Construction Laborer Job Summary:
Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour, based on experience
Schedule: Full-Time; specific shift times will be provided before assignment
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire
Start Date: Immediate openings with anticipated start dates beginning next week
  • Assist with construction site preparation, cleanup, and demolition
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment
  • Assist carpenters and other skilled tradespeople with daily construction tasks
  • Perform concrete work, including forming, pouring, and finishing, as directed
  • Safely and efficiently operate hand and power tools
  • Dig trenches, level ground, and prepare work areas
  • Measure materials and accurately read a tape measure
  • Follow project specifications and supervisor instructions
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
  • Comply with all company and OSHA safety regulations
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Construction Laborer Qualifications:
  • Previous construction or general labor experience is preferred
  • Concrete experience is a plus
  • Must be able to accurately read a tape measure
  • Ability to perform basic construction math
  • Experience using hand and power tools

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and humidity
  • Steel-toe boots and all required personal protective equipment must be worn at the job site
