Job description

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Oakland Park, FL, for an experienced Construction Superintendent. The Superintendent will oversee daily construction operations, coordinate subcontractors and trades, monitor project progress, and ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and according to plans and specifications.

Responsibilities include managing daily site activities, coordinating inspections, enforcing safety protocols, monitoring quality of work, managing project resources, and communicating effectively with Project Managers, subcontractors, clients, and other team members. The Superintendent will also help maintain strong relationships with clients through professional and consistent communication.

Qualifications

  • Ground-up construction experience required, with experience managing vertical construction projects involving multiple stories.
  • Experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a similar construction role.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes and jobsite operations.
  • Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors and trades.
  • Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of construction safety practices and requirements.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience coordinating inspections and working with local municipalities is a plus.
