Overview: Federal Commercial Construction Quality Control Manager


We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager, Federal Commercial Construction, to join our team. The QCM will be responsible for ensuring that all construction activities meet the highest standards of quality and comply with all regulatory requirements. Ideal candidates will have a degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Construction Management and a proven history of working on federal construction projects from start to finish.


Key Responsibilities: Federal Commercial Construction Quality Control Manager

  • Develop and implement quality control plans and procedures
  • Monitor and inspect construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify and resolve quality issues
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure quality standards are met
  • Maintain detailed documentation of quality control activities, inspections, and test results
  • Prepare and present quality control reports to management and clients
  • Train and mentor site staff on quality control procedures and best practices
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and promote a culture of safety on all construction sites
Requirements:

Requirements & Qualifications: Federal Construction Quality Control Manager

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Construction Management
  • 10 years of experience in construction quality control or a similar role
  • Certification in Construction Quality Management (CQM) required
  • Comprehensive knowledge of construction processes, codes, standards, and regulations
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in using quality control software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • US Citizenship is required for this role
  • Federal commercial construction experience required
