JOB OVERVIEW:

The QA/QC Inspector ensures that all construction installations comply with Wire 3’s safety and quality management standards. This role supports overall project quality control, verifies completed work, and ensures compliance with company specifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Verify units placed by both internal and external OSP placing crews.
  • Identify and address construction installations that do not meet Wire 3 specifications.
  • Review drawings and finalize as-builts for final records.
  • Communicate project risks to the Construction Manager as they arise.
  • Assist in implementing project and program plans as assigned.
  • Work closely with Field Supervisors to assess completion and inspection-ready segments.
  • Provide documentation, reports, and updates to Regional Management as directed.
  • Utilize company tracking systems to report crew productivity and weekly job progress.

REQUIRED SKILLS / ABILITIES:

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify quality control issues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in construction quality control or a related field preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Ability to walk extensively, bend frequently, and lift up to 50 lbs.
