Job description

We are looking for a QUALITY CONTROL TECHNICIAN in Silverthorne, CO. As a Quality Control Technician with Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials you will be responsible for ensuring quality control of batching, mixing, and delivering high-quality ready-mixed concrete that meets project specifications and customer expectations. This role requires travel to monitor quality standards and perform testing.

About the Role
Responsibilities:
  • Perform QC tests (air content, slump/workability, coarseness/sandiness, yield, set time, water-cement ratio, strength).
  • Calibrate production and testing equipment.
  • Sample and test raw materials for specification compliance.
  • Record and communicate test results to dispatch, batch personnel, and customers.
  • Troubleshoot fresh and hardened concrete to identify quality issues.

About You
We Require:
  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • A minimum of 1-year of QC experience within a construction, industrial, or manufacturing environment.
  • Good organizational and math skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
