Job description

Are you a detail-oriented construction professional with a strong background in quality control and federal compliance? Our client, HHI Corporation — a growing federal-focused construction firm with opportunities in Ogden, Utah and Seatlle, Washington — is seeking an experienced Construction Quality Control Manager to lead quality assurance efforts and ensure all construction activities meet contract, regulatory, and safety requirements.

In this critical role, you will lead all Contractor Quality Control (CQC) activities, including reviewing and approving submittals to ensure materials and installations meet contract specifications prior to owner submission. You will interpret construction drawings and specifications and apply them on-site to verify work is installed correctly. The position requires identifying and correcting deficiencies, coordinating third-party testing, and maintaining quality documentation. You will also mentor field teams and collaborate with stakeholders to maintain compliance and project progress. This is a fully on-site role requiring consistent, reliable jobsite attendance.

The ideal candidate will bring a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management, along with 10+ years of construction experience, including at least 4+ years serving as a Quality Control Manager preferably in federal, commercial, industrial, or heavy civil construction, with federal project exposure a plus. Preferred certifications include OSHA 30, EM385-1-1, and Construction Quality Control for Contractors (USACE). The successful candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent documentation and communication skills, and the ability to coordinate effectively with project teams and government representatives.

If you are looking to join a team where your quality control expertise will ensure successful project execution and compliance, the Construction Quality Control Manager position with HHI Corporation is the opportunity for you. EOE
