Job description

Job Title: Construction Project Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a Project Manager to oversee and manage 30-35 specialty construction projects simultaneously, all in various stages of completion. This role offers the flexibility of hybrid scheduling and as much travel as desired. The primary responsibility is to oversee construction projects from inception to completion using Netsuite project management software.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage schedules for multiple construction projects concurrently.
  • Review project drawings and specifications to ensure conformity with project requirements.
  • Maintain daily communication with teammates, clients, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure all parties are on schedule and aware of outstanding issues or tasks.
  • Coordinate the submittal of shop drawings, color selections, and other required documents to clients.
  • Generate RFIs, purchase orders, and subcontracts.
  • Remotely monitor installation crews and confirm work is performed using standard industry practices.
  • Troubleshoot and coordinate resolution of any issues that arise throughout the project.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience working as a construction Assistant Project Manager (APM) or Project Manager (PM).
  • Proficiency in MS Suite and Procore/CM software; experience with Netsuite is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Work Environment

The work environment offers flexibility with hybrid scheduling options and allows for travel as per the manager's preference. Projects are monitored remotely, and communication is facilitated through various software tools.
