As part of our Places Construction team, you'll play a significant role in transforming spaces into
functional corporate offices and product development centers. We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Project Manager to own the end-to-end delivery of our key capital projects, including the delivery of high-design workplaces and technically complex laboratory fit-outs. This role requires a unique blend of skills-the ability to implement an elevated design vision with meticulous attention to detail, deep technical expertise, and strong project management discipline.
Description
As the Construction Project Manager, you will be the key point of contact for project delivery to partners and leadership, responsible for taking projects from initial concept through design, construction, commissioning, and final handover. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who thrives on coordinating with a diverse group of stakeholders-including executive leadership, internal cross-functional partners, architects, engineers, and general contractors-to deliver inspiring and functional spaces on time and within budget.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent practical experience.
10+ years of progressive project management experience, backed by a robust portfolio of successfully delivered, complex construction builds.
End-to-end expertise across the complete project lifecycle, from initial programming and design through final commissioning and closeout.
Advanced financial acumen with a proven track record of managing high-value project budgets, including cost tracking, forecasting, and rigorous reporting.
Flexibility to travel to various project sites, vendor locations, and regional offices as required
Preferred Qualifications
12 years of progressive experience in construction project management.
Demonstrated experience managing high-design architectural projects where aesthetic quality and finish were paramount.
Ability to drive progress across diverse cross-functional teams through collaboration.
A self-starter with a powerful sense of ownership and a "no-task-is-too-small" demeanor.
An eye for quality and the rigor to ensure nothing is overlooked in both design and technical execution.
Excellent communication, consensus building, and interpersonal skills with ability to articulate sophisticated ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Thrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and navigates ambiguity with confidence.
