Job description

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead and deliver complex industrial construction projects. This role is primarily focused on Water and Wastewater treatment facilities, with additional project exposure including manufacturing plants, production facilities, and data centers across a variety of industries. The Project Manager is responsible for the overall planning, execution, financial performance, and successful completion of one large project or multiple smaller projects simultaneously. This position provides leadership to Project Engineers, Superintendents, and Foremen, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget. Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with owners/clients to facilitate and manage construction activities
  • Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards in alignment with corporate guidelines
  • Develop project work plans, staffing strategies, and schedules for each project phase
  • Direct and coordinate project personnel to ensure progress meets schedule, budget, and quality requirements
  • Review project plans, proposals, schedules, funding limitations, staffing needs, and resource allocation
  • Analyze and manage CPM-based construction schedules and adjust plans as needed
  • Monitor project status through reports and field coordination, modifying schedules and strategies when necessary
  • Lead daily field coordination meetings, weekly scheduling meetings, and monthly safety kickoff meetings
  • Coordinate activities with subcontractors, inspectors, and governmental agencies
  • Ensure projects are constructed safely, on time, and within approved budgets through oversight of on-site Superintendents
  • Represent the company in owner progress meetings and project reviews
  • Manage all financial aspects of assigned contracts, including cost control, forecasting, and project profitability
  • Prepare project reports for internal management and external stakeholders
  • Provide technical guidance and resolve construction challenges as they arise
  • Mentor and support the professional development of project team members
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train project personnel
  • Plan, assign, and direct work activities
  • Evaluate performance and provide feedback
  • Administer rewards and disciplinary actions in accordance with company policies
  • Address employee concerns and resolve issues
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not required
  • 5+ years of experience in managing industrial construction projects, including design coordination, financial management, and field operations
