This applicant-facing role guides cases from intake through closeout, including documentation, eligibility, Duplication of Benefits reviews, and status updates. Position Summary:
The Case Manager serves as the primary point of contact for applicants throughout the federally funded disaster recovery process, guiding each case from intake through eligibility determination, award or buyout activities, and closeout. This position reviews and validates applicant documentation, performs eligibility and Duplication of Benefits analyses, maintains complete and accurate case records, communicates program requirements and case status, and coordinates with program leadership and technical teams to resolve issues and advance cases in accordance with HUD CDBG-DR requirements, established policies, and quality standards.

Work Environment / Environmental Factors:

Compensation:
The hourly rate for this position is $22 - $27 per hour (depending on experience). The base salary rate represents the low and high end of the compensation scale for this role. Actual rate will be determined based on location, experience, responsibilities, and qualifications.
