Job Summary: The Estimates Assistant supports the Estimating Department by handling a variety of administrative tasks related to the bidding and proposal processes in our construction company. This role requires a keen eye for detail, proficiency in Excel and Word, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment. Being bilingual is essential, as the position involves communicating with diverse stakeholders, including state agencies. Prior experience in the construction industry, although not mandatory, is highly preferred.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist in reviewing and preparing construction project proposals and bid requirements.
  • Organize and manage presentations for project bids and related meetings.
  • Efficiently maintain and update records in Salesforce to track bid statuses and client interactions.
  • Review and organize bid lists, ensuring all information is current and accurate.
  • Communicate effectively with state agencies and other external parties to gather and relay relevant project information.
  • Support the Estimates Manager in administrative tasks, including document preparation and data entry.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all work outputs.

Requirements:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Bilingual abilities (Spanish and English).
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
