Job description

We currently have an openings for Construction Project Engineers in our Electricaldivision.

This position will review design and bidding documents, evaluate contractor bids, and oversee construction progress and scheduling. Additionally, the Construction project Engineer provides technical support to the construction staff under the supervision of the Project Manager. In addition his position will be responsible for the accuracy of all the time records, documents, scheduling of meetings and correspondence for their assigned project. This position will report to a jobsite in the Columbus and/or surrounding areas.

Duties:

  • Review weekly time records to ensure employee's time is accurately recorded, complete and with proper job/phase
  • Assist in monitoring site personnel for timely reporting, attendance, and ensure all employees' administrative requirements are properly filed
  • Maintain office supply inventories; Coordinate maintenance of office equipment
  • Assist in the completion and submission of daily and weekly reports
  • Conduct and/or schedule Onsite orientations
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings and appointments for managers or supervisors
  • All records, reports and drawings associated with installation progress, quality control and testing
  • Project conformance contract drawings, coordination drawings and specifications
  • RFI's
  • Punch lists and completion lists
  • Closeout and commissioning documents
  • BIM Box / Data Vault file updates
  • Participates in site coordination/review meetings from preconstruction throughout project completion; Prepare and update meeting minutes as required
  • Materials and equipment delivery and logs
  • Onsite/offsite material and tool inventory; rental and inventory of VI equipment
  • Analyzation of bulletins, ASI's, RFI's and other project documents
  • Assist preparation, assembly, submission and logging of change documentation
  • Drafting contract administration correspondence
