What is a construction painter?

Construction painters are skilled tradespeople who prepare, paint, and finish surfaces on buildings and other structures. They work on a variety of projects, including new construction, renovations, and maintenance of residential, commercial, and industrial properties. Their duties include selecting and mixing paints, preparing surfaces by cleaning or sanding, applying paint or other coatings, and ensuring a high-quality, long-lasting finish. Construction painters must also be knowledgeable about safety protocols and the proper use of painting tools and materials.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a construction painter?
