EBA Engineering, Inc. (EBA) is looking for a Material Testing Technician to join our Construction Material Testing team. If you have hands-on experience with construction materials, enjoy field and lab testing, and take pride in ensuring materials meet industry standards, we want to hear from you. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Perform soil, concrete, grout, masonry, and asphalt tests
  • Prepare detailed and complete field reports with all relevant test results and observations
  • Communicate with clients, contractors, and engineering and technician staff regarding construction issues

CORE REQUIREMENTS:
To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:
  • 2-5 years of experience
  • Mid-Atlantic Region Technician Certification Program (MARTCP) certifications, including Soils & Aggregate Compaction Technician, Asphalt Field Technician, Concrete Field Technician, and Pavement Marking Technician
  • Nuclear Gauge Safety and Hazmat Training
  • A high school diploma or a high school equivalence certification
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to lift technician equipment weighing up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to walk over rough and uneven terrain and be able to stand up to 12 hours a day on occasion
  • The ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and twist; use hands to grasp; use arms to reach; raise hands above the head; sit; climb; and balance
  • Strong attention to detail
