Responsibilities
  • Provides guidance, support, direction, and leadership through positive interactions with all Eastman personnel.
  • Responsible for managing the day-to-day shipping functions such as handling sales orders, documentation, loading and unloading trucks, putting stock away, pulling rolls for orders, cutting/rewinding rolls for orders, making boxes, performing general housekeeping and ensuring all related information is completed accurately.
  • They are to ensure PFW is meeting customer requirements including deadlines and quality standards.
  • Should follow and support the Safety Policy, Quality Policy, and the Eastman Team Values.

    Prerequisite Skill/Knowledge/Training for Job:
    Employes assigned to this classification must:

    • Be able to perform all of the essential elements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations.
    • Have successfully completed appropriate training for the job.
    • Be capable of providing clear and concise verbal and written communications.
    • Possess and practice good organizational skill and be able to self-manage.
    • Must be able to function effectively in a team environment and contribute positively to the department's team efforts.
    • Have or possess the ability to learn, a general knowledge of the division, safety and regulatory requirements for the division, basic computer skills, and become knowledgeable of a variety of software packages including corporate systems, i.e., Microsoft Office products, Intranet, SAP, computer dispatch system, Sharepoint, etc.
    • Demonstrate a commitment of safety and be a role model for safe behaviors at the site.
    • Be able to accept and provide constructive feedback.
    • Must work overtime as needed.
    • Must be able to understand and retain training at PFW.
    • Must be able to effectively apply these learnings on the job.
    • Must be able to lift, pull, and push.
    • Must be able to use pallet jack and all PIT equipment.
    • Must be able to use and understand documents such as SOPs, JSAs, JST's, process Procedures, Genesis Documents, Etc.
    • Must be capable of handling stressful emergency situations and do complex troubleshooting, and then take timely corrective action.
    • Must Maintain satisfactory progress in job progression
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Graduate or equivalent
  • PI License (sitdown, reach truck, manual and electric pallet jacks)

Note: This will be night shift position - schedule 7:45pm to 8 am

The base salary range for this position is $18.64/hour.
