What you'll do:
We're seeking a proactive and experienced Construction Manager to lead complex industrial and electrical projects. In this role, you'll be the driving force behind project execution-ensuring every phase runs smoothly, safely, and successfully. You'll collaborate across teams, manage resources, and serve as the key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
What You'll Do:
  • Lead full-cycle project delivery-from planning and budgeting to scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management
  • Conduct thorough reviews of technical requirements, scope of work, and timelines during project handoff
  • Leverage project management tools and software to track milestones, manage deliverables, and ensure on-site execution stays on course
  • Facilitate and lead project meetings, maintaining clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders
  • Coordinate Eaton's work around other trades to maximize efficiency and minimize disruption
  • Manage project closeout activities including punch lists, issue resolution, warranty handoff, and transition to ownership
  • Act as the primary on-site contact for all EESS-related activities throughout the project lifecycle
  • Partner with District Operations to promote and enforce safety initiatives across all job sites
  • Oversee financial performance through cost control, change order management, and risk mitigation
  • Collaborate with commercial operations, sales engineers, and technical support teams to align client expectations with project deliverables
  • Implement strategic program-level changes and initiatives from the Strategic Operations team
  • Mentor and guide team members, sharing expertise in project management and operational excellence to build team capability
  • Travel up to 50% of the time

Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum 10 years progressive experience in construction management, site supervision or project coordination, including at least 5 years leading electrical, industrial or general construction projects OR Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant construction management experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership or project management role.
  • This role is designated as a Regular Driver per Eaton's Driver Safety Policy and requires a current, unrestricted driver's license along with a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record. Candidates will be subject to a motor vehicle record check upon hire.
  • Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. This means that Eaton will not support any CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT plans, F-1 to H1B, H1-B cap registration, O-1, E-3, TN status, I-485 job portability, etc.
  • No relocation is offered for this position. Candidate must reside within a 50 mile radius of Menomonee falls, WI or Mount Pleasant, WI to be considered. Active duty military applicants are exempt from this requirement.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, or electrical engineering from an accredited university
  • 5+ years electrical field services experience
  • 5+ years managing electrical construction or commissioning projects as a project manager or construction manager, preferably large complex projects
  • PMP or Commissioning Agent Certification
  • Proficiency in project management and construction industry software packages (Microsoft Project, ProCore, etc.)
    OSHA 10 & 30 hour general industry or construction certification.
