Job description

Trueline's client, an award-winning luxury residential remodeling firm, is seeking a Project Manager to lead high-end custom renovation projects throughout the Sandpoint, Idaho area.

This is an opportunity for a construction professional who enjoys owning projects from preconstruction through completion while working with discerning homeowners and a highly collaborative team. The ideal candidate brings strong residential construction experience, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to grow into a senior operational leadership role over time.


What You'll Do as the Project Manager:

  • Manage luxury residential remodeling projects from estimating through closeout
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, materials, and equipment
  • Prepare estimates, validate subcontractor pricing, and manage change orders throughout construction
  • Oversee project budgets, cash flow, invoicing, and cost tracking to ensure profitable project delivery
  • Build strong relationships with homeowners, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal team members
  • Lead project communication through daily documentation, progress updates, and written correspondence
  • Review project contracts, scopes of work, purchase orders, and invoices for accuracy
  • Coordinate closely with field leadership to maximize labor productivity and project execution
  • Identify project risks early and proactively develop solutions before issues impact schedule or budget
  • Maintain complete project documentation using JobTread and other technology platforms
  • Promote a strong culture of safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Contribute to process improvements while helping scale a growing residential construction business


Must-Haves as the Project Manager:

  • 5+ years of Project Management experience in residential construction
  • Experience managing custom homes, luxury residential renovations, or high-end remodeling projects
  • Strong scheduling, estimating, budgeting, and financial management skills
  • Ability to read construction drawings and develop accurate takeoffs and cost estimates
  • Experience managing subcontractors while maintaining exceptional client communication
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent written documentation abilities
  • Self-directed and highly accountable with the ability to work independently
  • Proficiency with construction technology and Microsoft Office
  • Comfortable learning and utilizing AI and emerging technology tools
