Job description

Construction Project Managerย  ย 

This position requires an active Secret clearance to be considered.ย 

The Construction PM will assist with CBPโ€™s acquisition; building operations, maintenance and repair (BOMR); funding management and budget tasks; and construction management.ย 

Compensation & Benefits:

Pay commensurate with experience.

Construction Project Manager Responsibilities Include:ย 

  • Supports project requirements and acquisition program management, including procurement activities and documentation.
  • Assists in developing acquisition documents following USACE, FAA, GSA, CBP, HSAR, and FAR regulations.
  • Creates and delivers requirements documentation to the Government, and assists with Market Research, AoA documentation, and Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCE).
  • Collects and analyzes data for project costs, creates cost estimation templates, and develops baseline estimates.
  • Manages project funding, tracks financial actions, and reports on budgets using TRIRIGA.
  • Plans maintenance and repair, provides budget recommendations, and tracks project documentation and funding.
  • Oversees construction projects from initiation to close-out, working with end users and agencies like USACE, FAA, and GSA.
  • Ensures project data is maintained in systems like SharePoint, SAP, WMS, and TRIRIGA.
  • Monitors project progress, ensures quality assurance, and provides technical support and problem-solving during site visits.
  • Assists with environmental task oversight, site evaluations, and developing project documents such as PRDs and SOWs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree
  • PMP Certification highly desired.ย 
  • 5 or more yearsโ€™ experience in facilities managementย 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Must have experience using SAP (ERP System).
  • Must have experience in IBM TRIRIGA Integrated Workplace Management System
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
  • Must be able to attain a CBP Public Trust clearance.
  • Experience in construction project management and must have experience with Government contracting.
  • Experience working with USACE, GSA, and FAA is preferred.
