Job description

Job Title: Construction Laborer – Sitework

Job Description

This role supports a sitework construction team by performing a wide range of field tasks across multiple phases of site development, including paving, excavation, utility installation, grading, pipe work, concrete work, and general labor. You will work outdoors in varying weather conditions as part of a fast-paced crew, using hand and power tools to help maintain a safe, productive, and high-quality job site. This role will offer $20 - $25 an hour and we are open to people of various skill levels.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with site development activities such as paving, excavation, grading, and utility installation.
  • Support pipe work and concrete-related tasks, including preparation, placement, and finishing as directed.
  • Perform general labor duties including cleaning, loading, unloading, and job site clean-up.
  • Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for construction, carpentry, and production tasks.
  • Measure and mark materials accurately using tape measures and other basic tools.
  • Handle landscaping-related tasks as needed to support overall sitework construction.
  • Lift, carry, and move materials and equipment weighing 50 pounds or more in a safe manner.
  • Follow directions from supervisors and crew leaders to complete daily work assignments.
  • Work collaboratively with crew members to meet project timelines and quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site in compliance with OSHA and company safety requirements.
  • Consistently adhere to safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment.
  • Demonstrate reliability through consistent, on-time attendance and dependable transportation.
  • Communicate clearly with team members to coordinate tasks and resolve issues on site.

Essential Skills

Pay and Benefits
