Job description

We are seeking reliable and hardworking Post-Construction Cleaning Laborers for a Project located in QUEENS at the JFK airport. This role involves detailed cleaning of newly constructed airport areas to prepare them for occupancy.
Candidates with OSHA30 and 10-hour SST safety training are preferred. If you do not currently have these certifications, you will be required to complete the paid safety training before starting work.
Additionally, candidates will be required to obtain airport security badging when assigned to airport projects. The cost of badging will be fully covered by the company.
Hours may differ each day (may be M-F for 8 hour shifts, or may be evening or weekend shifts as the client requires).
Pay Rate: $24 per hour
Responsibilities:
  • Remove construction dust, debris, and leftover materials
  • Perform detailed cleaning of floors, windows, walls, baseboards, and fixtures
  • Vacuum, mop, and sanitize surfaces
  • Clean interior windows, frames, and tracks
  • Follow safety procedures and company standards
  • Work efficiently as part of a team to meet project deadlines

Requirements:
  • OSHA 30 and 10-Hour SST safety training preferred (training required if not currently certified)
  • Prior post-construction cleaning experience preferred (but not required)
  • Ability to lift 20-30 lbs
  • Comfortable working on ladders when needed
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
