Job Description
Follow all health, safely, and environmental requirements; Perform cleanup duties; Perform material handling and storage duties; Work with Authorized inspector on code work; Develop and track weld data sheets; Knowledge of Power Plant Quality processes; Knowledge of Failure Mechanism - Tubes; Familiar with EPRI (Organization the helps/consults with Power Plants on Quality Inspections); Perform boiler tube Inspections identifying boiler leaks, tube conditions, make repair recommendations and inspect and track welds in the field.; CWI not needed, but would be a plus; Power Plant Experience; Welding knowledge and understanding of WPS and metallurgy; Able to perform visual and PT weld examinations; Write outage reports with inspection findings, status of repairs and recommendations for repairs required during future outages.; Familiar with boiler pressure parts and piping codes; Candidate will need to be willing to work at heights off ladders, scaffolds, sky climbers and peg boards.; Candidate must be able to certify to Level 2 VT, PT and MT inspections
