Job description

General Construction Worker

Job description

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking individual to join our team as a General Construction Worker. This position involves the installation of underground conduit systems for a variety of electric utility projects. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in physically demanding outdoor environments and collaborating closely with other crew members to complete tasks efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

Install underground conduit systems for electrical infrastructure in accordance with company and industry standards

Perform work in and out of ditches, including trenching and backfilling as needed

Engage in manual labor such as digging, shoveling, and lifting heavy materials (up to 65 lbs.)

Use hand tools and power tools to complete installation tasks

Always ensure job site cleanliness and safety

Collaborate with crew members and supervisors to meet project deadlines and goals

Operate and maintain company tools and equipment responsibly

Occasionally drive company vehicles to and from job sites (valid driver’s license required)

Follow all safety regulations and company policies

Qualifications:

Prior experience in underground utility installation is a plus, but not required training provided for the right candidate

Ability to perform physically demanding work in varying weather conditions

Team player with strong communication skills
