MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 — required. Card must be valid and presented before start. Don't have it yet? See the link below.
  • Minimum 2 years of construction industry experience
  • Must pass a pre-employment background check and screening
  • Availability for day shift, night shift and weekends (schedule confirmed at hire)
  • Strong attention to detail and constant safety awareness
  • Clear, confident communication with equipment operators and site supervisors
  • Reliable transportation to the Spartanburg job site

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Guide and monitor operators during crane lifts, material handling, and vehicle movement
  • Identify and communicate hazards to operators, crew, and leadership in real time
  • Maintain constant visual contact and establish hand-signal or radio protocols
  • Enforce OSHA standards and project-specific safety plans
  • Conduct pre-shift safety checks and document observations as required
  • Coordinate directly with the site safety officer and project management team

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prior Spotter experience on data center, commercial, or industrial projects
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) — highly encouraged to apply
  • First Aid / CPR certification

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Standing, walking, and active monitoring for full shifts in outdoor conditions (heat, cold, weather)
  • Required PPE worn at all times: hard hat, hi-vis vest, safety glasses, steel-toe boots
