We are looking for a Grading Foreman to join our team and grow with the company.
Primarily located in Sacramento region of California. Possible travel to jobs in other areas of California.

Job Responsibilities/ Qualifications:

·         Oversee all on-site grading and earthwork activities
·         Operate heavy equipment including bulldozers, motor graders, excavators, loaders, scrapers and compactors
·         Ability to grade stakes and grade set
·         Knowledge of grading, excavation, cut and fill, compaction, drainage and site preparation
·         Ability to read, understand and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, specifications and soil reports.
·         Knowledge of safety regulations and protocol
  • Enforce OSHA safety standards and ensure all team members adhere to safety protocols on-site. 
·         Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a crew while providing a safe and productive work environment
·         Time management skills with the ability to manage job deadlines as well as employees’ hours.
·         Organization skills to schedule and manage daily activities
·         Ability to stand for long period of time, walk on uneven terrain, climb on/off equipment, lift as well
·         Maintain equipment daily, such as greasing etc.
·         Willingness to work in all weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.
·         Ability to effectively communicate.  Be able to coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, local officials, and employees.
