Job description

The Construction Framer plays a critical role in building the structural framework for residential homes and mixed-use developments. Working primarily within small teams of 2-4 members, this position involves frequent travel between construction sites and requires close collaboration with site supervisors, project managers, and construction managers to ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

  • Measure materials accurately to specifications
  • Cut lumber to size using hand and power tools
  • Erect walls and structural frameworks
  • Read and interpret blueprints and building plans
  • Operate power tools safely and effectively
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations on-site
  • Coordinate tasks and communicate within small teams
