Job Summary

We are seeking experienced Foremen to lead crews on roadway and airport construction projects. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, coordinating crews, and ensuring projects are completed safely and on time.

Foremen are expected to lead by example, work alongside their crew when needed, and maintain strong communication with project managers, office staff, and clients.

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive Pay: Based on experience and project type (including prevailing wage opportunities)
Prevailing Wage Jobs Available: Higher pay rates based on state/federal wage determinations
Per Diem Pay: Up to $280 per week for out-of-town work ($40 per day)

Qualifications & Requirements

Valid driver's license (must be maintained)

Able to obtain and maintain airport/military badge
At least 21 years of age
Willing to travel out of state
Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug/alcohol test (random testing required)
2+ years of construction supervisory experience or equivalent
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise crews on active projects
Coordinate daily tasks and ensure work is completed safely and efficiently
Communicate with Project Managers, office staff, and customers
Monitor project progress, quality, and schedule adherence
Conduct daily crew huddles and set expectations
Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company safety standards
Complete daily reports, timecards, and equipment documentation
Coordinate materials, equipment, and subcontractors
Identify and resolve job site issues to keep projects moving
Conduct weekly Toolbox Talks and enforce safety policies

Essential Functions

Perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 75 lbs, bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods
Work outdoors in varying weather conditions and around dust, noise, and equipment
Operate trucks with trailers, construction equipment, and tools
Use and maintain PPE (hard hat, safety vest, eye protection, etc.)
Assist with hands-on work including sealing, concrete repair, and equipment operation as needed
