Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Construction Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and project management, with expertise in cost control. This role is crucial for ensuring accurate pricing and effective resource allocation for our projects, contributing to the overall success of our operations.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate project cost effectiveness and monitor actual costs throughout development
  • Prepare and present cost reports and forecasts to project managers
  • Develop detailed cost estimates including materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs
  • Analyze blueprints, plans, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates
  • Assess cost effectiveness of products, projects, or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project develops
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders on changes and estimate adjustments

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a construction estimator
