About the Job 

The Construction Engineer supports the Construction Lead Engineer/Manager for the execution of all duties, in particular for the preparation of all deliverables required at the various phases of Construction activity for a given project.   

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Participates in the timely and qualitative preparation of Construction Execution Plan and procedures in coordination with other disciplines 
  • Support Subcontracting team in the definition of subcontracting plan and during the selection process  
  • Review the documents of the Call For Bid packages relative to Construction.  
  • During the bidding phase, assist the Subcontracting Team to answer bidders' clarifications, to review the technical offers and to prepare the TBT 
  • Participate to define the Construction sequence and CWA in coordination with CSU and Planning Teams 
  • Participate to define the direct manhours and the site manning chart, to estimate the needs in specialized subcontractors and provide inputs to overall EPC schedule  
  • Prepares the general Method statements, request studies for specific activities (heavy lift, scaffoldings....) contribute to definition and design of Temporary Construction Facilities and Camp if applicable 
  • Upon indication of the Project Construction Manager to prepare the Project Construction deliverables list 
  • Supports Project Construction Manager for the definition of Construction Measurement System database by daily coordination with the Project Team. 
  • Organize the constructability reviews

About You

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field 
  • More than (3+) years of experience in project/field services and/or plant operation 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team 
  • Fundamental understanding of Construction Process 
  • Basic knowledge of construction management software and CAD tools 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint)
