Quanta Power Solutions is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern to support engineering activities associated with power generation facilities, including fossil fuel, combined-cycle, and renewable energy plants. The intern will work alongside experienced engineers to assist with piping system design, equipment evaluations, plant modifications, maintenance projects, and engineering documentation. This position provides hands-on exposure to power plant operations, engineering standards, and project execution.


  • Support mechanical and piping engineering projects for power generation facilities.
  • Assist with piping drawings, P&IDs, equipment layouts, and engineering calculations.
  • Conduct field walkdowns and collect plant data.
  • Support equipment troubleshooting and plant modification projects.
  • Review technical documents, vendor submittals, and engineering packages.
  • Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams.
  • Follow applicable safety requirements and engineering standards.

Required Qualifications
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and mechanical systems.
  • Familiarity with engineering drawings and Microsoft Office applications.
