Job description

Position Description:Perform daily project operations and engineering to coordinate project planning, engineering, VDC coordination, and generate basic financial reports. Provide onsite support for delivery coordination and material hand-offs in collaboration with project team, vendors, and xPL organization as required by project schedule.

Essential Duties & Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with xPL management to identify and discuss project issues and develop resolution plans, and as appropriate, engage with project team, vendor, owner and construction team resources to resolve.
  • Maintain project documentation system to access and upload project-specific folders and maintain timely and comprehensive project documentation, including photography, meeting minutes, engineering documentation, shop drawings, and other project documentation.
  • Coordinate project delivery in accordance with project on-site delivery dates and sequence. Develop and maintain delivery schedule aligned project Contract Items List (CIL).
  • Manage project submittals, transmittals, and Requests for Information (RFIs) for defined project deliverables, emergent work, drawings, product approvals and variances.
  • Review procurement and engineering packages to understand scope of work for each project vendor and integrator.
  • Record and manage Pending Change Order (PCO) reviews and provide onsite analysis (e.g., confirm lengths, quantities, material conformance) and report findings to xPL management.
  • Generate and deliver project reports to project team inclusive of schedule, material status, manufacturing status, engineering document status, minutes of meetings.
  • Facilitate site readiness coordination including detailed transportation schedule, materials delivery methods, onsite receiving requirements including alignment to project schedule, demands, and delay notification requirements.
  • Conduct inventory of xPL deliveries and obtain appropriate chain of custody signature from project team for items delivered to project site.
  • For equipment and deliveries, obtain proof of data to ensure storage area meets environmental requirements and completion of predecessor work prior to delivery.
  • Conduct material reinspection for periods of extended storage.
  • Develop and/or collect documentation in support of delay back charges and claims from site stakeholders.
  • Assist in collecting and uploading vendor and integrator close-out documentation per contract documents.
  • Participate in activities, duties, and responsibilities to ensure safe project deliveries.
  • Other activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned.
  • This role requires full time travel
