Custodian Porter - #83777

Our custodial porter keeps areas sparkling by ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and client satisfaction. In this role, you will perform routine, manual work, cleaning the entirety of the location assigned - both interior and some exterior areas. You will follow established practices and cleaning schedules.

You must enjoy detailed repetitive work.

You will have direct supervision with frequent inspections - to assure completion of assignments in accordance with the instructions and our standards of cleanliness.

START IMMEDIATELY - Cleaner with Janitorial Experience.

Schedule and Location: Fort Lauderdale - Monday, Wednesday and Friday 6:30pm-9:30pm (6hours/Weekly)

We are looking for cleaning specialists that are dedicated, detailed oriented and passionate about delivering exceptional quality.

What You'll Do:

  • Clean floors and surfaces using prescribed cleaning methods and procedures.
  • Mix appropriate proportions of cleaning and disinfecting materials following safety protocols.
  • Dust, mop and sweep offices break areas, consultation rooms and exam rooms, elevators, gym and feeding rooms, restrooms, common areas, or other type of rooms depending on the account assigned.
  • Clean and disinfect areas as per scope of work.
  • Empty trash receptacles.
  • Inform supervisor or Area Manager is any supplies are needed.
  • Inform housekeeping supervisor of any cleaning equipment that may need repair or replacement.
  • Inform housekeeping supervisor about any building hazard. Maintain a clean and organized storage area for cleaning equipment and supplies.
  • Organize janitorial storage closet as needed.
  • Secure all interior offices if applicable.
  • Shut off all lights if required.
  • Set alarm if applicable and secure main entry door.
  • Other duties as needed based on scope of work.

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Detail-oriented and meticulous.
  • Must be a team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Must be able to perform tasks that involve light lifting, bending, and stooping.
  • Must maintain a strong awareness of safety at all times.
  • Must be able to pass a Background Check
  • Must be able to pass Drug Test
  • Bilingual English & Spanish preferred
