Job description

Job Title: Construction Assembler
Work Hours: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM (5- 10 hours of OT)
 
Pay: $19.50/hr to start (50 hours a week)
 
Job Summary
Crouch Staffing Solutions, Inc. is immediately hiring for a Construction Assembler to work in Waco, TX! 
This worker will build and assemble company product primarily made of wood or steel. The Construction Assembler will be responsible for complete building assembly from start to finish. 
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Frequently utilize tape measures
  • Must be able to frame, put up plywood, paneling, sheetrock, install windows, doors and insulation
  • Some welding and use of cutting torch required, when needed
  • Required to use basic hand tools, as well as power tools such as saws, nail guns, sanders, etc.
  • Will install metal siding
  • Some painting may be required by either brush or spray gun (respiratory clearance exam to be provided for spray painting0
  • Must use proper safety equipment - safety glasses or goggles, grinding shield, steel toe boots, gloves, respirator (if needed), etc.
 Experience/Qualifications:
  • Basic Math Skills
  • Tape Measure Experience
  • Familiar with Carpentry Skills such as framing, drywall, siding, etc.
  • Welding and/or Electrical experience preferred
 Abilities/Physical Demands:
  • Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs
  • This job requires frequent repetitive motion and may, at times, require bending, stooping, twisting, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, and pulling;
  • Good hand and eye coordination
  • Needs good upper body strength and lower back strength- able to reach out and work out of position
  • Finger dexterity, and visual acuity are required, since the worker will also be handling small parts;
  • Verbal Communication is important, so employee must be able to hear and speak;
  • Some exposure to noise, - hearing protection is provided,
  • The worker is subject to inside and outside environmental/weather conditions throughout the year - hot and cold weather conditions
