What is a construction apprenticeship?

A construction apprenticeship is a paid training program that combines on-the-job experience with classroom instruction to teach individuals the skills needed for a career in construction. Apprentices work under the supervision of experienced professionals while learning various trades such as carpentry, electrical, plumbing, or masonry.
