Job description

POSITION SUMMARY
Constellis requires business development leadership across federal, state, intelligence community, and commercial market segments to support the range of Constellis' offerings. This position will be responsible developing and managing a pipeline of opportunities, systematically developing individual opportunities, and coordinating successful capture of each opportunity across all relevant Constellis business units and support organizations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Identifies and qualifies new business and maintains a pipeline aligned with the annual operating plan
  • Develops and implements effective win strategies and capture plans to profitably grow new business and retain existing business
  • Moves assigned opportunities through the business development lifecycle
  • Prepares and implements effective customer call plans
  • Helps to build capture teams and assigns capture responsibilities across the company in coordination with functional area leads (Contracts, Pricing, Finance, HR, etc.)
  • Prepares detailed competitor analyses
  • Identifies qualified teaming partners
  • Develops estimating and pricing strategies
  • Translates client intimacy and competitive intelligence into capture strategy, win themes, customer hot buttons, discriminator/differentiators, and ghosting throughout the capture and proposal lifecycles
  • Coordinates development and implementation of communications/marketing campaigns supporting capture efforts
  • Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and other practices set forth by upper management

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 7+ years experience with a proven record of winning >$100M prime US federal opportunities in a large business
  • Prior military or IC experience (preferred)
  • Previous project or program management experience preferred
  • Security clearance eligible, active TS strongly preferred
  • Relevant previous P&L responsibility strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with capture tools (GovWin IQ, Salesforce, etc.)
  • Proficient with government opportunity databases (SAM.gov, FPDS, etc.)
