Position Overview

Luxe Brands (https://luxebrandsllc.co) is seeking a proactive, forward thinking Distribution Center Operations Manager to lead day-to-day warehouse execution while anticipating and preparing for future business needs. This role owns the operational rhythm of our Columbus based distribution center, overseeing people, inventory, and workflow, while continuously improving how the operation scales alongside company growth.

This is a high initiative, boots-on-the-ground leadership role for someone who thrives in fast moving environments, balances strategic thinking with hands on problem solving, and adjusts communication style based on audience and context. This leader will be responsible for today’s execution and for identifying what the business will need next and how we scale for optimal growth.

The D.C. Operations Manager also plays a critical role in ensuring all inventory, including private label, consignment, and buy out merchandise, is handled with accuracy, care, and efficiency from receipt through fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily distribution center operations, including receiving, inventory management, fulfillment, packing, and shipping
  • Lead and develop the DC team and external partners with clear expectations and accountability
  • Own inventory control processes to ensure accuracy, accountability, and efficiency
  • Monitor throughput, quality, and service levels to meet operational standards
  • Analyze performance data to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities
  • Establish, track, and report on key operational KPIs to guide decisions and drive performance
  • Drive daily execution through team huddles, priority setting, and real-time problem solving
  • Implement process improvements that increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability
  • Serve as the primary operational link between the DC, retail teams, and leadership
  • Communicate clearly across audiences, adapting style for frontline teams and business partners
  • Build and maintain a high performing team culture focused on accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement
Requirements:

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years warehouse, logistics, or distribution center management experience
  • 2+ years of experience leading and managing direct reports
  • 2+ years of experience in training and professional development
  • 2+ years of conducting performance reviews and corrective actions
  • Proven ability to improve existing operational systems and workflows
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and Office Suite skills
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (travel between store locations in company van)
  • Comfortable lifting 45 lbs.+ (boxes, mannequins, racks, etc.) and support physical warehouse operations as needed
  • Successful completion of a background check

Preferred Experience:

  • Prior experience in fashion, apparel, or other product-based fulfillment environments
  • Familiarity with Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms, Brightpearl, Sage, and Inventory Planner
  • Exposure to inventory management systems and barcoding workflows
  • Microsoft Teams proficiency
  • Experience working in a high growth business environment
