Job description

Purpose:

Responds to incoming mail and telephone inquiries including order placement, product availability, shipments, pricing, expediting, invoicing, consignment and special projects.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Respond to customer inquiries (phone, email, fax) both internal and external
  2. Order entry and schedule changes
  3. Maintain forecast/schedule for long lead time
  4. Accurate Invoicing
  5. Shipping/Receiving
  6. Consignment inventory reconciliation/invoicing
  7. Follow up on orders with production, shipping, logistics and problem solving

Qualifications & Experience:

Associates Degree preferred

Related experience: Sales Support, Customer Service, Logistics, Scheduling, Inventory Management

Skills:

Active listening, Excellent communication, both written and verbal, Customer service, High attention to detail, Ability to work independently and in fast-pace environment with sense of urgency, Problem-solving, Organizational and follow-up skills, Prioritization skills, Data management, including sharing of information with the appropriate parties at the right time.

This position reports to a Sales Supervisor. The salary range for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including experience, education and location.
