An ideal candidate has a proven track record of breaking news and building sources on the American right, while also writing sharp news stories on deadline and informative features. They should get inside the minds of decision-makers and opinion-shapers and highlight emerging trends on the right – in both the corridors of power and the influencer ecosystem. Candidates based in Washington, D.C. or New York are strongly preferred, though extraordinary applicants based elsewhere will be considered.
