About the Role:
USAgain currently has an immediate opening for a Part-time Drop Spot Attendant to maintain three (3) Drop Spots at Sand Creek Crossing in Brentwood. The Area Drop Spot Attendant is responsible for maintenance of each location by visiting each Drop Spot, picking up anything left outside, emptying the collection bins, and filling the carts inside the 20' Drop Spot. Your responsibility goes beyond transportation; you are a key player in our mission, helping to maintain the flow of operations and contributing directly to our sustainability efforts.

  • Brookhurst & Adams, Goldenwest & Warner, SaigON City Marketplace, Pacific Plaza, Westminster center, Los Alamitos, Vons Center, Mercado Del Lago, Santa Margarita, Marketplace Buena Park Place, Lincoln Valley View, EL Super, FullertON Crossings, Fullerton University Shopping Center, Whittier HS Puente Hills East Shopping Center Eastland Center West Covina Cardenas Marketplace Monrovia

Work Schedule:
  • Work Days: Friday (as needed), Saturday and Sunday
  • Start Time: 10:00am
  • Duration: 4-8 hours per day ( *Hours are subject to change based on business needs*)

Salary: $25.00 per hour
Primary Responsibilities:
The Drop Spot Attendant travels to additional collection sites within the Socal area, sorts clothing and shoes, organizes donations in carts, maintains a clean and debris-free site, distributes flyers to promote the Drop Spots, assists patrons with patience and professionalism, removes or paints over graffiti, and monitors surveillance cameras for assigned locations.

Requirements
Requirements
This position is physically demanding and requires significant stamina, strength, and endurance. It involves consistent physical activity throughout the day, including lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods. Candidates should be prepared for a highly labor-intensive role that requires sustained physical effort. Requirements for the position are as follows:
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must reside in the city of Brentwood
  • Must have a personal and reliable vehicle with auto insurance, including liability and collision coverages, that provides coverage while performing job-related duties (USAgain provides mileage reimbursement)
  • No driving accidents in the past three years
  • No more than two tickets in the past 3 years
  • No DUIs in the past 7 years
  • Must be available to work weekends
  • Must be physically capable of lifting at least 50 lbs. repeatedly
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and follow memos, reports, and various written and/or oral instructions
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
