About the Role:
USAgain currently has an immediate opening for an AM Shift Driver Service Representative in Ramsey, MN. The Driver will deliver and swap recycling bins and carts as needed. Run local routes to service USAgain recycling bins and bring the collected materials for processing to the warehouse located in Ramsey, MN, 55303.
Location: Ramsey, MN
Driver Schedule:
  • Work Days: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays
  • Start Time: 6:00 AM CST
  • Duration: 12-14 hours per day
  • Salary: $30 per hour

DRIVER RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Operate Local Routes: Safely drive a box truck to service recycling bins, collecting materials and delivering them to the warehouse.
  • Bin and Cart Delivery/Swap: Ensure timely delivery and exchange of bins and carts at customer sites as required.
  • Unload Collected Materials: Upon returning to the warehouse, efficiently unload and organize collected materials.
  • Overflow Collection: Manage overflow pick-up tasks as necessary, ensuring all materials are gathered promptly.
  • Resolve Site Issues: Address site-specific issues, including bin repairs, repositioning, graffiti removal, and bin removal as needed.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure the box truck is safe and operational.
  • Additional Duties: Support warehouse operations, including material organization and general assistance to the team.

Requirements
This position is physically demanding and requires significant stamina, strength, and endurance. It involves consistent physical activity throughout the day, including lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods. Candidates should be prepared for a highly labor-intensive role that requires sustained physical effort. Requirements for the position are as follows:
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • 3-5 years of experience driving an 18' to 26' box truck for pick-ups or deliveries
  • No driving accidents in the past 3 years
  • No more than two tickets in the past 3 years
  • No DUIs in the past 7 years
  • Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs regularly
  • Flexibility to work hours based on business needs
  • Ability to read and comprehend memos, reports, and a variety of instructions in written, oral, and schedule forms
  • Knowledge of safety protocols in both driving and physical work environments
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screening
  • Basic computer skills
