Job Description
onsemi's East Fishkill (EFK) 300mm manufacturing site is seeking a highly skilled Facilities Manager to lead environmental operations, regulatory engineering and waste and warehouse operations. This role is critical to ensuring safe, compliant, and highly reliable environmental and infrastructure systems that enable uninterrupted manufacturing operations - consistent with onsemi's standards for world-class facilities support.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Environmental Operations & Engineering
  • Lead daily operations of five wastewater treatment plants and hazardous waste operations, ensuring the safety of employees and the reliability of service.

  • Manage a team of engineers, specialists, and technicians, providing coaching and driving operational excellence.

  • Oversee environmental monitoring, operational controls, documentation, and program audits.

  • Lead interactions with regulatory agencies and ensure 100% compliance with permit requirements and reporting obligations. Accountable for environmental regulatory submissions.

  • Maintain all environmental documentation, records, and compliance systems.

  • Drive sustainability initiatives across the site, including energy conservation, greenhouse gas reductions, and the reduction of hazardous waste. Partner with the corporate sustainability team to advance carbon reduction goals

  • Manage procurement of electricity, natural gas, and water, supporting forecasting and cost optimization.

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.

  • 7+ years of experience in facilities/environmental engineering, high-tech manufacturing, utility operations, or industrial construction.

  • Strong technical knowledge in environmental operations, utilities, or facilities systems.

  • Experience in regulatory compliance and environmental engineering programs.

  • Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.

  • Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities

Preferred Qualifications
  • Semiconductor manufacturing experience preferred

Salary: onsemi is excited to share the base salary range for this position is$127,800 to $217,200 exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses.The final pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location, skills, education, experience, and/or consideration of the internal equity of our current team members.
