Work Environment

This position operates within an outpatient office setting but allows for the flexibility of remote work. Our practice is open Monday through Saturday, giving therapists opportunities to accommodate their personal schedules. We provide essential resources such as in-house credentialing, insurance management, and administrative support, enabling our therapists to focus on delivering high-quality care without logistical burdens.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments of clients, including individuals, adolescents, families, and groups, to inform treatment planning.
• Implement graduate-level clinical interventions tailored to clients' specific psychological, social, and emotional needs.
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams through patient rounds and documentation, ensuring alignment in treatment plans.
• Provide case management services for assigned clients, collaborating with community professionals to secure comprehensive care.
• Complete timely and ethical documentation that corresponds with department standards.
• Utilize cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based modalities to develop and execute individualized service plans for clients.
• Support clients in developing coping strategies and life skills to manage their mental health challenges effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal Mental Health Counselor will work with a diverse patient population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families grappling with various mental health concerns. Our clients are seeking guidance for issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. Qualifications

• Active licensure in Nevada as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW is required.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in the mental health field is essential.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.
• Ability and willingness to work between 10 to 40 hours per week based on session needs and personal preference.
