Job description

Location: Manchester, MO 63021

Primary Purpose of Job

As a Beverage Tech, your primary responsibility is maintaining food and beverage equipment and providing equipment installations, repairs, and preventative maintenance to all beverage equipment found at Midwest Petroleum’s retail locations. Most locations have fountain soda machines, but can also include coffee, cappuccino, tea, ice dispensing, and water filtration equipment. All Beverage Techs take part in the 24/7 On-call shift rotations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Install and service new or existing equipment as needed.
  • Travel between stores and provide routine scheduled maintenance and unscheduled breakdown repairs.
  • Provide scheduled preventative maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot, resolve, and test any issues found in fountain soda machines, coffee, cappuccino, tea, ice dispensing, CO2 tanks, and water filtration equipment.
  • Read and interpret manuals, work orders, schematics, and other equipment documentation.
  • Comply with state and federal regulations.
  • Document all repairs made by producing detailed service reports.
  • Make appropriate recommendations and brief on repairs, diagnostics, and equipment specifications.
  • Inventory all maintenance supplies and ensure they are safe and in good working condition.
  • Follow company procedures and protocols.
  • Handle any other work assigned at the supervisor’s discretion.

Education/Experience Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • 1-3 years in Beverage Technician or related fields
  • Driver’s License and clean driving history
