Connell Chevrolet is now hiring a GM Master Heavy Line Technician. We're seeking someone who is GM manufacturer certified and/or has GM experience. If you have the drive to perform, exceed and excel, then we want you to come work with us.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $140,000.00

GM Master Technician Responsibilities:

  • Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies and manufacturer specifications.
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair GM vehicle engines.
  • Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
  • Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are well-informed of any additional services needed.
  • Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
  • Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements.
  • Document work performed on repair order, record test procedures/results & time, per company recording & clocking procedures.
  • Responsible for providing and maintaining an inventory of normal mechanics tools.

GM Master Technician Qualifications:

  • GM experience and/or GM manufacturer certification required
  • Master Technician/Mechanic level
  • ASE certification are a plus
  • Team player focused on providing exemplary customer service
  • Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence
