Candidates with a research focus or technical expertise involving aging, interoception, brain-gut interactions, gene therapy/gene editing, functional in-vivo brain circuit mapping and connectomics, neuroengineering (brain-computer interface, neuromodulation), whole brain imaging, computational neuroscience, big data modeling, machine learning and artificial intelligence, will be prioritized.
Newly recruited faculty will have the opportunity to be part of a rapidly growing research community focused on neural plasticity, neuroimmunology, neurodegeneration/cognitive impairment, epilepsy and behavior.
Candidates must hold a Ph.D. or equivalent and at least 3 years postdoctoral experience with a strong record of scholarly activity. Candidates for appointment as Associate or Full Professors should also be nationally or internationally recognized scholars with consistent externally funded research programs.
