Job description

JOB SUMMARY:
The Connections Coordinator at Christ Fellowship's Royal Palm Beach Campus supports the Connections Director in leading the Campus Connections teams and overseeing the entire "Welcome Home" experience. You'll help people take their best next step, create meaningful connections, and ensure every guest feels at home. If you're passionate about people, energized by teamwork, and excited to help others find their place in the church, this role is for you.
JOB DUTIES:
  • Support the Connections Director in executing the central Connections strategy and leading the team to create a welcoming environment at weekend services and campus events.
  • Invest in the Host Dream Team by building genuine relationships, recognizing their strengths, and creating opportunities for them to grow, lead, and thrive. Host Team includes Parking Host, Campus Host, Auditorium Host, Connect Host, and all volunteers who serve in the Journey Class (our church's assimilation class).
  • Create an environment where the Host can thrive by providing the resources, communication, care, and support needed for an excellent serving experience.
  • Lead The Journey experience: schedule classes, facilitate and schedule co-facilitators, schedule the volunteer team, and manage the follow-up process.
  • Manage Connect Card follow-up and assist in developing strategies to help guests take their next step.
  • Collaborate with the Connections Director and campus ministry leaders to implement a cohesive follow-up strategy for new guests, new families, and salvations.
  • Partner with the Groups & Classes Director to ensure effective follow-up with Journey participants joining Groups or volunteer teams.
  • Facilitate regular Connections Team Orientations and ongoing volunteer training as outlined by the Central Connections Team.
  • Track and report key Connections metrics including Journey, Host Teams, and New Guest Engagement.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree preferred.
RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE:
  • A minimum of 4 years customer service-related experience.
  • Experience in recruiting, leading, and developing staff and volunteers.
