Job description

A Long-Term Care (LTC) Pharmacy is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join their Lawrence, KS (Lenexa) location on a direct hire basis. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work within a specialized pharmacy serving long-term care and intellectual developmental disorder (IDD) patients.
Schedule/Hours:

  • Day shifts: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (flexibility to work both shifts required)
  • Possible Saturday hours in the future
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform PV2 duties, including medication checking and verification
  • Train for PV1 responsibilities if aptitude is demonstrated
  • Work efficiently to handle high prescription volume
  • Utilize Frameworks pharmacy system for operations
Desired Qualifications:
  • Valid Connecticut Pharmacist license in hand is a must
  • Prior experience in long-term care pharmacy preferred; retail pharmacists with strong volume management skills will be considered
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
