Sierra Pacific Industries Conifer Nursery Tech โ€“ Shipping Conifer Nursery & Seed Center Grenada, CA Our Nursery division offers qualified candidates an opportunity to join our team and work in a professional conifer seedling nursery. Our technologically advanced and innovative conifer nursery is located in the beautiful Shasta Valley of Northern California. Recognizing this being a team-oriented and hands-on position, living in the general Siskiyou County area is essential. Earn $25.46 per hour. We train and promote from within! ABOUT THE POSITION โ€ข Responsibilities center around shipping, logistics, and production for conifer nursery products โ€ข Assist with scheduling and logistics to meet production and customer needs โ€ข Effectively navigate and adapt packing schedule to ensure all timelines are met โ€ข Assist with cooler/freezer mapping for optimum efficiency and organization โ€ข Support efficiency, accuracy and safety in shipping processes including loading trucks, creating BOLs, and inventory logistics โ€ข Assist with inventory management to track inventory and map throughout the facility โ€ข Effectively communicate and collaborate with team members to support informed decision making โ€ข Work with other nursery techs on sow line, thinning, transplanting, and weeding as necessary โ€ข Operate forklift in a safe and efficient manner โ€ข Work alternate schedules and overtime depending on production needs QUALIFICATIONS โ€ข 1 year of recent related experience with good work references โ€ข Experience in safe forklift operation preferred โ€ข Strong self-starter with excellent communication and interpersonal skills โ€ข Demonstrated to be highly adaptable and organized in frequently changing work environment WHY JOIN OUR TEAM Because this is more than an invitation, it's a commitment to offer opportunities for personal and professional growth to everyone!
